Why Las Vegas is a Great Place to Study Dental

What you learn in Vegas, can stay in Vegas. Luck is not a prerequisite for seeking out dental educations and careers in Las Vegas. Dental assistants and dental hygienists are considered “hot growth” occupations in Las Vegas by the Nevada Workforce Informer; each career path is projected to grow nearly 6% annually through 2012, while slower, yet steady annual growth of nearly 3% is expected for dental lab techs and dentists. An active dental organization community in the city as well as the state offers community outreach programs, student mentorship programs and even scholarships such as those offered by the Nevada Dental Hygienists' Association.
